Few days back, I happen to accompany my sister to her son's school. He is doing 6th std. We entered Principal's room, Myself and My sister were sitting before her and my Nephew was standing. I asked him to sit in the available chair, he was fumbling. On seeing this, the Principal and class teacher told, in our school Students are not supposed to sit in front of us.

The same thing happened when I accompanied my relative for his Daughter's admission in an Engineering college in Chennai. There also the student was not allowed to sit in the admin office.

I wonder whether our education system has improved. I believe there are two aspects of education.
1)IQ Level irrespective of knowledge in the academics.
2)Knowledge of what we are studying.

I believe unless we are good in the first aspect, the standard has not really improved. By doing the same old practises of making the students bow in front of the superiors we are only curtailing their shrewdness.

Recruitment in Infosys

Yesterday I read a news that Infosys will be recruiting 30 Lakh professionals this year. Such news has become a hype for software companies. First these companies should explain how many professionals, they have sacked/ asked to go/ resigned etc in the previous year. Also at the end of the year how many total staff has increased.

But let us see the reality. The Graduate Engineers who are joining Infosys are put 18months training at their Training center in Mysore. Meanwhile depending on the Market, the Trainees are absorbed or declared unfit and sent back. They say it is their right to remove if the trainees are not performing during the training period. When a Graduate is assessed for 4 years during their Degree, what different methods are they using to assess in their 18 months. Why are they Playing with the career of new Engineers.

On the Contrary, take the case of Engineering firms, when one is selected, the firm rarely sacks them., because the firms are cautious in recruitment, but after recruitment, they feel it is their responsibility to groom them up.

"Padma ........." Awards

Every time when the "Padma ....." list released, I used to wonder why such great persons are recognised now only., - on the contrary, when some other persons are honoured, what great things these persons have done to be honoured.

The first type of persons are Ilayaraja - Arts, Venu Srinivasan - Trade & Commerce and many such are in the list.

The second type of persons Saif Ali Khan and few others.

Generally cinema and Sports personalities are finding their places even when they deserve or not. (E:g) Refer my previous post, Sania whose best ranking is around 25-30, was awarded much earlier, but Saina Nehwal who is with in 5 in world ranking in Badminton is awarded now only. In sports only Cricket and Tennis players are awarded. As this is a recognition from Government, selectors should be level headed to identify the deserved ones.

In Tamil there is a saying "Murpagal seyiin, pirpagal thane varum", Meaning whatever we have done in forenoon, we will receive back the same in After noon. This has what happened to Sania.

Sania betrayed the engagement with her child hood friend - 3-4 generation family friend few months back saying he will not suit her. If the engagement was with some stranger this can be understood. But a familiar one, if she is avoiding means then it is not normal, ultimately it is insulting an innocent person.

Now the same has happened to her. The world's biggest fraud "liar" is marrying her as 2nd wife. What more insult can a girl can experience in her life.

One thing Sania should answer - during her press meet till yesterday, she told that she knows history about Shoaib and gave clean chit to him. Now if she knows he has already married to Ayesha, then Sania knowingly wanted to spoil another gal's life. If she doesn't know his history, then is she really interested to marry who has lied to her also. Whatever be the case, Sania is at fault.

Above all, we have to pity Pakistan. If Pak is having such a person to lead its team, then how it can expect trueness from other players.

Sania Mirza - A sensation, India's answer to International Tennis etc etc were the words we have been hearing for the last 5-6 Years.

Suddenly what happened??? Why all of us are seeing her as an Alien.

For this, we need to trace back to her Tennis career. India has produced several international stars - Golden Girl P.T.Usha, Milkha Singh, several Hockey, Cricket, Billiards Players, Prakash Padukone etc, etc then why so much hype about Sania. Infact when Sania won Hydrabad open, she was around 100 rankings, but she was hyped as if she is the Answer to International Tennis. How was so much popularity all of a sudden... It is simply because as she is good looking, Advertisement agents hired for several crores and made use of her. So more than her talent in games, Media people utilised her good looking, glamour appeal for their benefit - Ultimately she also earned much more money in Advertisement rather than in games.

Now we all people cry as if she has ditched our nation. To put it short, she was really good in games compared to any other women from India - that's all, we public should be level headed to understand this. In many of the tournaments, she exited in 1st round itself, but yet we will hear the news in all channels that she was exited in 1st round.

Take the case of Saina Nehwal - Girl from same city - Hydrabad, how many of us know she is in top 5 of the world in her game, but why these channels are not projecting her - because she doesn't have the backing of advertising lobby as like Sania whose best ranking was around 25 only.

So at lease from now on we shall learn to assess the talent, encourage real talented persons, not be carried out with advertisement and Media.

Truly speaking, if Sania have really achieved something great in game, all would have blessed her, however it is not so.

Nevertheless, leaving behind all the hypes for which Sania is innocent, she is best in India., so let us all wish her a satisfied married life. What is wrong in marrying a Pakistani - that is her personal decision.
